Bogota Photography Tour

I have never before taken a private photography tour so I didn’t know what to expect. I was very pleased with this tour. I had a driver and a great tour guide, Sebastian, who is in the photo. He is a professor of history at a Bogota university. He asked me where I wanted to go. When I realized I actually had a choice, I said to old churches and to the top of Guadalupe Mountain and then left the rest up to him. A private photography tour is a great way to see a city, especially the sites that you particularly want to see, and if you are taking a later multiday escorted tour, to go to places that that tour will not be taking you to.

Lunch

We ate lunch near the Plaza Bolivar and near the restaurant where I ate yesterday. I ordered a traditional Colombian dish, Sancocho. Photo: part of the dish.
