Grand Central Market, Downtown Los Angeles
-
A trip to the newly, partly "gentrified" Grand Central Market in Downtown Los Angeles, 317 S. Broadway, between 4th and 3rd Streets.
-
Grand Central Market opened in 1917 and has been in operation since. Its "mission is to celebrate the cuisines and cultures of Los Angeles."
-
The market has 30,000 square feet of open space.
-
The market still has many fruit and vegetable stalls.
